2009 DISTRICT FOUNDATION DINNER District 7150 Foundation
Dinner This year, the Rotary Foundation Dinner for District 7150 will have a totally different and exciting program! The focus will be on those who have helped advance the great works of Rotary International by contributing to the R.I. Foundation this past year, 2008-09. BUT... the program will feature one of CNY's great community resources, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Rated in the top 10% of zoos nationwide by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, you will be provided with guided tours of the zoo's indoor exhibits during cocktails and be prepared for some amazing visitors during our dinner program. Rotary International's theme this year revolved around children. What better place to bring out the child in each of us than by spending a night at the zoo. Several Rotary clubs have even adopted projects at the zoo to benefit the young people in our community. Reservations may be made by Emailing District Foundation Chair Jack Luchsinger or calling him at 315-637-4235 for reservations. Jack and DG Larry will also need to know the number from your Rotary club that will be attending, the names of your RC's Sustaining Paul Harris members, those in your RC who have earned a Paul Harris Award in 2008-09, and whether they will be present to be recognized at the May 22nd dinner. The cost of the dinner will be $25.00 per person. Guests are welcome. There is ample free parking. Directions to the Zoo: Take route 690 to Geddes Street exit. Take Geddes Street south, follow signs to the Zoo, which is located in Burnet Park. Hope to see you at the zoo for an evening of fun and entertainment. - Jack Luchsinger, Foundation Chair.
