Larry was born, raised, and educated
in Utica, New York. He graduated from Utica College of Syracuse
University in 1962 with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He recently
retired from Excellus, Inc. – formerly Blue Cross and Blue
Shield of Utica-Watertown – after 29 years of employment
with them. He held Senior Management positions in Finance and
Marketing. His last 4 years, he held the position of Vice-President
of Operations. He is also a retired LTC in the Army Reserves,
having Commanded the 376th Combat Support Hospital in Liverpool,
NY.
Locally, he serves on the Boards
of the House of the Good Shepherd, the ARC of Oneida and Lewis
Counties, Boy’s and Girl’s Club of the Mohawk Valley,
and the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame.
Larry has been a Rotarian since
1995. He is Past President of the Utica Rotary Club, and more
recently, Assistant Governor for Area 2, (2005-2006). He is also
an inductee in the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame (Class of
1995). Larry and his wife, Annabelle, live in Whitesboro, New
York. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
